Today we learned about the number 2. You'll see that we colored a large 2 orange. We colored and practiced writing the number 2 in black and we also colored 2 elephants (big and small, and one of the animals of the month). We also have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 lips (but only one mouth), 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 shoulders, 2 elbows, 2 knees, 2 legs, 2 feet! The body is a great way to teach the number 2!


We also introduced black by coloring with black and finding things around the house that are black. Shoes, bags, bird feet, binders, etc. and talking about things that are black. Some cats are. Annie's not, but has black stripes. Some hair, bats, come cars, and so forth.
