Today we learned about David and Goliath (D for David). David had God in his heart and God gave him courage to fight Goliath. I spoke with the kids that God does not like fighting, but since not everyone has God in their heart, fighting does happen sometimes, and God will help and give courage if someone asks God and it is for His good.
We also spoke about the opposites of little (David) and big (Goliath). The kids colored a picture with a bible verse on it about the story and also watched a short cartoon about it.
